Overview

2024 International Conference on Distance Education, Teaching and Learning (ICDETL) will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia (and Online) during 14th June, 2024 as the Conference of ICDETL-2024. ICDETL 2024 aims to be one of the leading international conferences for presenting novel and fundamental advances in the fields of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences. It also serves to foster communication among researchers and practitioners working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in improving Humanities, Education and Social Sciences related techniques.

(ICDETL) held every year since 2018, the conference will be an international forum for the presentation of technological advances and research results in the academic fields. The conference will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences interest from around the world.

Submit & Present Your Research Work

Note: Full paper submission is optional but highly encouraged.

  • STEP 1 (Submit Abstract): The corresponding author must collect and enter the following information for the abstract submission. Submit your abstract by clicking the link. Click Here

  • STEP 2 (Review & Decision): Following review by editorial board, you will received an Abstract Acceptance notification mail with guidelines to prepare full paper (optional) & conference ID.

  • STEP 3 (Registration): With your abstract/full paper approved, you can now start to register for the conference.

*Note: For journals, a full paper is needed; For conferences, only an abstract is required.




Themes and Special Focus

Academicians, industry practitioners, research scholars, and students are invited to contribute original research papers (empirical and conceptual) and case studies on any of the following areas. The topics given are just suggestive. You may feel free to submit manuscripts on related topics in your area of specialization.

Author(s) Guidelines

  1. Medium of conference: English is the conference's official language; the paper should be written and presented in both English.

  2. Presentation & Publication (Full paper): Full paper is requested if you are also considering publishing your paper(optional).

  3. Oral Presentation Only (Abstract): If you only want to make an oral presentation without a journal publication, you can only submit an Abstract or Extended Abstract.

  4. Ethical Standards: Articles submitted to the conference should report original, previously unpublished research findings, experimental or theoretical, and should not be considered for publication elsewhere. We strongly believe that ethical behaviour is the essential virtue of any academic. Consequently, any act of plagiarism is entirely inappropriate academic misconduct and cannot be tolerated.

  5. Presentation Category:
    • Oral/Virtual Presentation: Opportunity to do a Oral/Live-Stream Presentation at the Conference.
    • E-poster Presentation: E-poster presentations are like digital versions of traditional posters, displayed on a computer screen.
    • Pre-Recorded Video Presentation: Authors unable to attend the live session can present their work via a pre-recorded .mp4 format.

  6. Submission Guidelines:
    • Abstract Submission: The maximum word limit for the Abstract is 250-500 words. Abstracts must be received by the announced deadline.
    • Full paper Submission: Submit the full paper only if the committee has officially accepted your abstract. All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, experimental or theoretical.

Registration Guidelines

After receiving the acceptance notice for your abstract, you can proceed to make your payment via Bank transfer/Online. Please be aware that payment is mandatory for each submission (title/abstract) and should be finalized prior to the Full Paper submission deadline.

Important Note:
  • To complete registration, make the payment and send us the payment receipt or transaction proof you received after the transaction you made along with the filled up registration form scanned copy before the last date of conference registration.
  • Delegates should bear the Service Charges (if any) of the bank on the Sender’s Side with registration fees.
  • Submit your Full paper for journal publication only after payment being confirmed by committee.
  • Registration fees you paid are non-refundable in case of not attending the conference or withdrawing the paper.

Scopus/WoS Publications: Additional charges (Approx. $200-$600)

  • Abstract will be published in Confernece Proceedings & Full paper will be published in International Journals as per your registration category.
  • Scopus Q4/Q3/Q2/Q1, Web of Science (ESCI) journal publications, details will be provided in the acceptance letter after initial review or contact our Conference Coordinator for more details.

Benefits of Attending
Conference registration fee includes a copy of the conference proceedings, admission to all technical sessions, two tea breaks, lunches, certificates, gifts, best paper awards and conference banquet.
Listener registration fee includes the admission to all technical sessions, two lunches and conference banquet.

Note:
  • Your acceptance will be cancelled, and the publication will be placed on hold if it is not made with full payment.
  • Publication of full papers will be recommended but are not guaranteed to be published in the journals (depends on paper quality and under editor review process)
  • The registration fee received is non-refundable. However, the amount you have paid can be utilized as a credit that can be applied to any of our future conferences.
